I have seen this article about the increase in Domestic Abuse during lockdown. There is a Panorama program on tonight 7:30 BBC 1 – Escaping My Abuser.

The more attention that is brought to this the better, no one should have to suffer at the hands of another and lockdown created a perfect opportunity/situation for perpetrators of Domestic Abuse.

The more awareness raised the better, even if you think it will never happen to you, being more aware about Domestic Abuse may help you to help a neighbour, a friend, someone you work with. Please don’t turn a blind eye to abuse, if you hear your neighbours ‘fighting’ don’t just ignore it you could save someones life.
